Hey Omar,

I presume you mean Firefox 1.5.0.1.
I just upgraded myself and verify that Spellbound v0.7.3 doesn't work in Firefox 1.5.0.1.

I was able to make it install by editing what version of Firefox it expects to see. I'm not sure if there are any license ramifications of putting it up online, but you can download it here:
http://carl.evankovich.com/downloads/extensions/spellbound_0.7.3_in_ff1.5.0.1.xpi

More than likely you'll have to download it first because my site shouldn't be trusted to install XPIs.

If this violates any sort of license, email me or post a comment and I will take it down right away.

Additionally, I had some issues installing the spelling libraries. However, I'm working on a new computer with a fresh install and I'm trying to use a non-administrator account for the first time. I built a version of the spell checking libraries with a similar modification as above, but it didn't work for me. I think it was related to permissions. I ended up having to use an administrator account to insert the libraries into the Firefox install manually. I can tell you how I did that if you need to do so. I would hope that if you were only upgrading Firefox that the libraries wouldn't need reinstalled, but wouldn't bet on it.

Hi:

I just upgraded to Firefox 1.5.1.0 and my Spellbound extension stopped working. I tried tweaking Firefox with about:config--->app.extensions.version, but no joy.

Do you know of a way to make it work?

Thanks in advance,

Omar.-
